Download Tesh Carter - In The Air Feat Chidinma. Tha Suspect presents Tesh Carter, another femcee trying to find her spot in the limelight. Tha Suspect is known for being versatile with his production; he switches between afrobeat, rnb, pop and hip hop. This time he introduces Tesh to you with this frenzy hip hop instrumental that has Chidinma on the hook (spot the difference?). I actually thought Tesh sang the hook too. For you all that dont known Chidinma well she's the winner of Mtn Project fame plus she sang Jankolikoko Feat Sound Sultan and are her current hit track Kedike which has Dammy Krane in the Video so yea :). Production and arrangement wise, everything is cohesive.
But since this is Tesh's first official release and it's just a short intro, all I can say is that she has a very assertive energy and relies a lot on delivery and flow. She is quite sure of herself and she knows what she wants:
"Imma blow till I explode like a f****** balloon."
Hopefully her explosion (fame) will be literal rather than conceptual.
