Legendary singer Whitney Houston has sadly passed away aged 48 (1963-2012). She was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Her publicist Kristen Foster confirmed the news to CNN. Throughout her career Whitney Houston sold more than 170 million albums, singles and videos. Statistics tell part of the story: More than 55 million albums sold in the U.S. alone (and more than 100 million more around the world), a record seven consecutive No. 1 singles, and one of the biggest selling songs ever, the lung-busting tear-jerker “I Will Always Love You,” from the mega-selling soundtrack to The Bodyguard.
